Exciting!!

Not exactly fashion related but I don't care, I am so excited about this film. It looks freaking intense.
On another note, I headed over to Susie Bubble and Co.'s Yard Sale today and picked up some pretty hot pieces. Lets just pretend that it didn't effect my negative bank balance.

Who I Want To Be This Winter...

This is my new winter label, I want to swan into my office looking like this beauty from the Carven A/W10/11 Look Book.
Carven is a much underrated French fashion house that began in Couture in the 1940s, being one of the first fashion houses to dress actresses and royalty for red carpet events. In 2009 it came under the direction of Guillaume Henry who relaunched the label as a chic and desirable RTW collection that draws on its heritage but never looks back.
I particularly like the delicate mix of coquettish secretary and saucy temptress;
I think I would like to be a Carven girl.

My New Girl Crush...

It may sound like I am being biased or overtly patriotic but my love for Tati Cotliar stems from more than our shared Argentine heritage...promise. I have in fact been following this stunning lady ever since I saw her strut her stuff down the catwalk at LFW in February, and since then this beauty has been making loud, crashing, splashy waves in the fashion world.

Further more she is very lovely. I was luckily able to chat to her and take her photo when I spotted outside Somerset House in February and even though I could see (from the crumpled A to Z in her hands) that she was rushing off to another show she still stopped and gave a nobody like me a little time. Plus she was funny; funny, sweet and beautiful it is an all powerful combination.

I think I love her and want to be her in almost equal measures.

Pushing all the right buttons...

I am finding this whole dressing for an office a bit of a challenge. I don't even need to dress that smartly but I don't want to look like the uncouth student that I normally do; my whole look needs an influx of sophistication and grown-uppery (not a word but it should be).

One label that does the structured with a bit of bite is pushBUTTON my new favourite Korean super label. Seung-Gun Park launched the label in 2003 and has managed to create a lust for brand that is attainable and fresh. A selection of the pieces can now be found on ASOS but for a more detail investigation head to his website.

Well will you look who it is....

I'M BACK!!

So I have been M.I.A to say the least lately, but for very good reasons I promise. I have just graduated (yay) and spent May stressing through exams and dissertation hand in, and as soon as I had finished with one big stress I started another one. I have been working full-time at American Apparel and interning for a designer the other two days a week.....that's right people 7 days a week!!

So I have been monumentally tired all the time, with no social life, no chance to enjoy the glorious summer and no chance to blog. But that is all about to change. I am now about to begin working with the designer full time in her press and sales team and I will regain my weekends and my life!

But, just because I haven't been blogging doesn't mean I haven't been aware of the all the fashion world happenings. Favourite amongst all these was Paris couture week, and to ease my re-introduction into all this blogging lark here are my favourite images from across the shows.

That was basically the Givenchy Show. EVERY SINGLE PIECE. I tried to narrow it down and decide but it was 100% impossible, I loved all of it.
