Mourning
Luella Bartley announced today that the Luella fashion label has ceased trading after Club 21 their financial backers pulled out. First Christian Lacroix declared insolvency in May and now my beloved Luella, but this is the saddest casualty of all those who have fallen foul of this horrible financial climate. The story just gets sadder as their SS09/10 ready-to-wear collection is also unable to meet production demand due to the Italian manufacturers closing down last month.
